A very big thank you Jackie and all her colleagues at PX ltd for a fantastic amount of £1330. They wanted to do something for us after seeing Prince and the terrible state he came into kennels in . Thank you all so much .

We have some incredible news and it’s all down to the people on here that voted for Maxi’s Mates in the recent Support Adoption For Pets campaign “Love to Give “.
We came first in our area 😊🐶.
The prize is £5000 and £2500 in vouchers to spend in Pets At Home , so a fabulous £7500 for our dogs .
It’s the most we have ever been awarded and will make such a difference to us and this was possible because of our massive online support .
Thank you to every single person that voted from all of us at Maxi’s Mates

We have received the cheque for our share of the money from the recent wish token campaign .
Thank you to everyone that dontated their tokens to us . All those volunteers that cut the thousands of tokens and stuck them in the booklets to be sent off .
We came 8th this time , slowly creeping up , doing better every year thanks to your overwhelming support .

We were pleased to welcome 23 children from Newport Primary School today who came to visit our dogs and bring them some Christmas presents .
The whole school have been fund raising for us after voting to pick Maxi’s Mates as their charity for the year . They have all worked so hard for our dogs and enjoyed seeing exactly where their funds are going . The children were fantastic and a pleasure to show around . For legal reasons the children’s faces cannot be photographed.

We were proud to present Tom Pink today, with this lovely post in his honour. He’s been instrumental from start to finish, measuring up, digging holes, setting posts, stretching chicken wire and with help from a fantastic team completed 4 paddocks in a couple of months . Our dogs are now using them , enjoying plenty of exercise and fun. A huge thank you to him for his dedication and kindness he always shows to Maxi’s Mates and all our dogs .

We at Maxi’s Mates would like to give a huge thank you to the Durham Tees Valley Community rehabilitation Company for their invaluable help these last few months . We couldn’t have completed the new paddocks without the hard work from Dave Smallwood and his fantastic team of lads . They are all almost complete now and will make a huge difference to the well being of the dogs in our care . We would also like to thank Chris Douglas so much for allowing them to be at Maxi’s Mates and hope they will be able to keep coming back to us .
The team have never stopped working, have also cleared land, painted kennels, cut down the grass verges and even filling in the pot holes on the road. We are all very grateful to you all .
They are also the company that donated their own old mini bus last winter so they have been really supportive enabling us to help the stray dogs throughout the Redcar and Cleveland area .

We have had a cheque handed over to us from the Newport Primary School this morning of £520. They have been raising money for us for a few months and so far raised a magnificent £520. It’s a fantastic amount and we would like to thank the children and staff so very much for all their hard work .
Still more to come as we are their chosen charity until Easter next year .
